Senior Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with clients through engaged conversations, understanding their needs and priorities.
  • Find solutions to complex tax matters, working closely with clients to deliver tailored advice and guidance.
  • Continuously learn and develop expertise in tax areas of interest, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage tax engagements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Prepare business and individual tax returns, as well as perform field work, including the preparation of complex work papers.
  • Train and mentor Staff Accountants, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • CPA designation required.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant tax experience in a similar public accounting firm position.
  • Proven financial, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent client service and business development skills.
  • Ability to oversee and manage engagements, prioritize tasks, and supervise/motivate staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to client locations, with minimal overnight travel required.
