Job Title: Recess and After School Program Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to join our Recess and After School team at the Montessori School of Chevy Chase Inc. As a Recess and After School Program Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for our students aged 18 months to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement outdoor games and activities that promote physical activity and socialization
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of students at all times
  • Collaborate with other teachers to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Experience working with children aged 18 months to 6 years
  • Ability to create a safe and engaging environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
