The Global Corporate Controller position at EG Professional offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for an experienced accounting professional.

Job Overview

This role oversees the global financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations & Reporting:
  • Manage the general accounting function, including intercompany accounting, cash management and reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and consolidate global financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Establish a highly efficient global month-end closing and reporting process that ensures accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain an effective financial reporting framework that provides transparent financial results from both management and statutory perspectives.
  • Compliance & Internal Controls:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a global internal control framework for financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and international tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Manage debt compliance reporting to lenders.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of any audit findings.
  • Audit & Risk Management:
  • Manage the annual audit process, coordinating with internal and external teams.
  • Lead the implementation of robust risk management and internal controls across all global entities.
  • Oversee compliance with financial regulations and handle all tax-related inquiries or audits.
  • Strategic Financial Management:
  • Partner with the CFO to develop and execute global financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making, focusing on areas such as operational efficiency, cost-saving opportunities, and capital expenditure decisions.
  • Oversee global cash management, treasury functions, and foreign exchange risk management.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally on major company initiatives and strategically provide value-added financial analysis and support of business reviews and decisions from the financial perspective.
  • Identify and implement best practices in global financial operations, ensuring alignment with company performance management system.
  • Work Experience/Skill Requirements:
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of building, developing, and managing lean, high-performing teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in a global accounting function, including experience as a Corporate Controller in a $300M+ multinational organization.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
  • Prior experience with international operations and exposure to M&A processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, IFRS principles, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
