Overview:
Cedar Fair is seeking an experienced Entertainment Operations Manager to oversee the technical execution of our Entertainment division. This role is pivotal in managing the operations of various events, shows, and attractions.
The Entertainment Operations Manager will collaborate with multiple departments to develop, implement, and manage entertainment products from inception through to execution and dismantling.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between the Entertainment division and contracted production teams to ensure seamless execution of show plans.
Assist in the planning, organization, installation, and production of all technical elements related to shows and events.Support the budgeting and planning of new show concepts, including the creation and revision of operational plans and promotional materials.
Oversee all technical aspects of the Entertainment division, managing production timelines from initial concept through to show closure.
Coordinate the installation of new attractions and large-scale events with various departments and external vendors.
Conduct interviews, manage hiring processes, and onboard new staff.Supervise seasonal staff, ensuring tasks are assigned, planned, and reviewed for accuracy and quality.
Manage all technical facilities, addressing maintenance needs and troubleshooting issues related to lighting, sound, and scenic equipment.Oversee approximately 15-20 shows annually, along with multiple attractions and special events, ensuring all operations adhere to budgetary guidelines.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of modern lighting and sound design equipment.
Hands-on technical experience in production and event management.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as required by company policy.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Valid Driver's License required.
