Mechanic III Thermoforming Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic III Thermoforming Specialist to join our team at Baltimore Aircoil. As a key member of our PVC Department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining thermoforming equipment with moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Operate thermoformers with moderate supervision, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.
- Perform secondary operations, including changing molds and making set-ups, with assistance as needed.
- Build skids at an efficient rate to meet productivity requirements, adhering to quality standards.
- Complete paperwork associated with the department, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Must have a working command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and operate basic hand-held measuring tools.
- Understand, remember, and execute simple instructions, working effectively in a team environment.
- Able to read blueprints used in the department, with knowledge of skid building, crating, and job paperwork.
- Familiarity with ISO procedures for PVC operations, with a focus on quality and safety.
The temperature conditions in this role vary widely with outside temperatures. You may be required to work extended hours as needed, with a focus on meeting productivity goals and maintaining a safe work environment.
