Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, and adults.
- Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory function.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy respiratory habits and disease management.
- Current Texas license for Respiratory Care Practitioner required on hire.
- BCLS required on hire.
- ACLS, STABLE and PALS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Graduate of COARC approved courses in Respiratory Therapy.
- Associate of Applied Science Degree.
- Minimum 6 months acute hospital experience required.
