About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the operating room, ensuring the smooth and efficient function of the GI Endoscopy suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, adhering to strict sterile techniques and protocols.
  • Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the GI Endoscopy suite, including equipment and supply management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year from graduation or completion of a training program.
  • Preferred experience as a Surgical Technologist in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Surgery.
