Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Mass General Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the operating room, ensuring the smooth and efficient function of the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist surgeons and nurses with perioperative care, including patient positioning, draping, and instrumentation.
- Work closely with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and surgical procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year from graduation.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting.
- Preferred experience in Labor and Delivery/OB/GYN and committee and leadership roles.
