About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Mass General Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the operating room, ensuring the smooth and efficient function of the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist surgeons and nurses with perioperative care, including patient positioning, draping, and instrumentation.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year from graduation.
  • Minimum of two years experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Labor and Delivery/OB/GYN experience preferred.
  • 4 years experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting preferred.
