Civil Engineer Drafter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer Drafter to work on various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MicroStation and Open Roads Design software, as well as expertise in the Storm Flow modules. You will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings, plans, and models for roadways, drainage systems, and other infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize MicroStation and Open Roads to develop design drawings and specifications for civil engineering projects.

Create and manage 3D models, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.

Implement Storm Flow modules to analyze drainage systems and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.

Prepare detailed documentation, including reports, presentations, and project summaries.

Review and modify designs based on feedback and changing project needs.

Conduct quality control checks on drawings and models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

Requirements:

Proficiency in MicroStation and Open Roads Design software.

Experience with Storm Flow modules and 3D modeling.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
