Patient Care Technician Senior

The Senior Patient Care Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including ADLs, vital signs, and point-of-care testing
- Assist with physical, respiratory, and cardiopulmonary therapies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in patient education and support
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of general healthcare experience or 1 year of experience and enrollment in PT/OT/PA program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Act 34 clearance
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic certification
- Basic arrhythmia course completion
- Microcomputer experience
