About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and safe treatment
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney disease and dialysis-related topics

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical and mental ability to work on your feet for extended periods
