Shifts:
We provide flexible 8 and 12-hour shifts for our positions, with opportunities for both full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) employment.

Typical Hours:
Day Shift: 6am-2:30pm
Evening Shift: 2pm-10:30pm
Night Shift: 10pm-6:30am

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Living Services Specialist to join our Memory Care Team. This role is vital in creating an environment that promotes the independence of our residents.

The Senior Living Services Specialist is responsible for providing assistance with personal care, medication management, social and recreational activities, meals, and other essential tasks to support the well-being of our residents.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with grooming, dressing, bathing, and medication management
  • Review daily communication logs and tenant service notes
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Maintain resident rooms, including bed-making and laundry services
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning common areas
  • Maintain an activity calendar and engage residents in various activities such as games, music, and physical exercises
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in facility meetings and training programs
  • Observe residents' rights, including privacy and dignity
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must be capable of independent thinking and action in both routine and emergency situations. They should be self-motivated and possess strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and understand English.

Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with dementia, ideally in a memory care setting. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED. A valid CNA certification in the applicable state is preferred but not mandatory.
