About the Role:

Kent Plc is seeking a Material Controller to contribute to the Golden Pass LNG Project within our CCSU division, collaborating closely with our client and leveraging the broader Kent network to deliver material management services for the project.

Your Responsibilities:
  • This role reports to the Material Lead.
  • Adhere to all HSE policies and procedures, participating in safety audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams to develop material take-offs.
  • Coordinate with Craft, Scheduling, and Procurement to ensure materials are available for construction activities.
  • Report material constraints to Management and take proactive measures to mitigate schedule impacts.
  • Provide weekly material status updates to both Company and Client.
  • Work with Engineering and Quality to create and submit Material Purchase Requests and Oracle Purchase Requisitions.
  • Ensure Material Purchase Requests are submitted for Client and Company approval.
  • Assist Craft in generating warehouse Pick Slips for material requests.
  • Distribute Pick Slips to the warehouse for picking and staging.
  • Monitor Min-Max inventory levels to maintain adequate stock.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory control methods, procedures, and systems.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Your Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a material controller in the oil and gas sector.
