Division Operations Manager

As a key member of the Terracon team, the Division Materials Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within the department. This includes supervising and monitoring all projects in progress to guarantee timely completion and adherence to client requirements and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical disciplines such as engineering, environmental science, or geology, with a minimum of 5 years of practice experience. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree or PhD preferred. Certification or licensure in the field of expertise is also highly valued.

The Division Materials Manager will be responsible for supervising daily department operations, including staff training, development, and performance review. They will also oversee the utilization of equipment and facilities, safety oversight, quality of services and work product, and timely delivery of services and deliverables.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Division Materials Manager will participate in business development activities to identify, develop, and execute project opportunities. They will also build and maintain client relationships, with support from the Office Manager.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to promote a culture of safety and quality within the department. They will also be familiar with company risk policies and procedures, and will be able to develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks.
