Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist in surgery, including flap elevation, microsurgical anastomosis, raising skin grafts, retraction, suturing, and more, under the supervision of the Physician.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative counseling, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and plan discharge and follow-up care in collaboration with the supervising Physician.
  • Identify when immediate attention is required and initiate emergency medical treatment if needed, communicating findings efficiently.
  • Complete accurate and efficient medical records, progress notes, evaluations, and other documentation as per standards.
  • Participate in daily hospital rounding with Faculty or independently, triage patient calls outside office hours as needed.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for post-operative patients, reporting medical status to the appropriate medical staff.
