Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Monitor and Document Patient Progress: Continuously monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and treatment outcomes, and document all relevant information in the patient's medical record.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Communicate with Patients and Families: Provide clear and concise information to patients and their families about their care, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in Critical Care and another specialty (e.g., Medsurg, Telemetry, IMC, or Emergency).
- Licenses and Certifications: Current RN license in the state of employment or compact, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- 5 years of experience in Critical Care and another specialty.
