Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Professional - Education to join our team at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for youth ages 6-18, with a focus on academic development and career readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that align with the Club's strategic plan and meet the needs of our members.
  • Recruit and retain youth for educational programs, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to implement programs throughout the school year, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach.
  • Collect and maintain student grades and other educational data, using this information to inform program development and evaluation.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
  • Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test.
  • Experience working with youth, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Work Environment

This position typically works Monday-Friday, 2pm-7pm, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Work is conducted indoors and outdoors, with a focus on creating a safe and healthy environment for youth.
