Quality Technician I

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician I to join our team at Chart Industries. As a Quality Technician I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Record and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Perform basic analysis of data and write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards
- Recommend modifications to existing standards, methods, and procedures as needed
- Perform work under direct supervision and handle basic issues and problems
- Utilize basic tools and equipment in daily tasks
- Perform product, process, and Quality Management System audits
- Process reject material from production and conduct sample receiving inspections
- Initiate nonconformance reports and revisions for Quality Management System documentation
- Conduct mechanical testing and prepare samples for testing
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of quality technician experience or minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders
- Basic math skills and attention to detail essential
- Basic computer skills and strong time management skills
- Proven ability to identify, reason, and problem solve minor non-conformities and deviations
- General knowledge of ISO procedures
- Knowledge or experience working with Chart products
- Welding experience a plus
