Position Summary:

The Property Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role in attracting potential tenants while facilitating the leasing and renewal of residential agreements in alignment with company policies and housing regulations. Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of experience in customer service or sales
  • Familiarity with property management software, such as Onesite
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with online inquiries, respond to prospect calls, arrange property tours, and highlight community features
  • Welcome visitors, including residents and potential tenants, ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Track prospect traffic and leasing statistics, assisting with data entry as needed
  • Inspect available units to ensure readiness for new residents and prepare necessary move-in documentation
  • Support the organization and execution of resident events and activities
  • Collect application fees, security deposits, and rental payments
  • Prepare and submit applications for resident approval
  • Follow up with prospects post-viewing or application submission
  • Handle service requests efficiently
  • Prepare move-in and move-out notices and conduct inspections as required
  • Implement established sales and marketing strategies to enhance property visibility, maintain closing ratios, and strive to meet or exceed occupancy goals
