Quality Assurance Specialist

Join SQA Services in a challenging role as a Quality Inspector, where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of components and assemblies sourced by a global aerospace leader.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be conducting precision mechanical inspections at various client suppliers in the Brownsville, TX area.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct precision mechanical inspections at client suppliers
- Verify documentation packages to industry and commodity standards
- Classify defect types and verify rework conducted during inspections
- Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards
- CMM experience (not necessarily CMM programming experience)
- US Citizenship is required
- Background checks are required
- Industry experience (4 or more years) and the ability to independently establish criteria with limited guidance
- Experience within a technical discipline or extensive technical training
- Hourly rate: $29 - $30.50
- Minimum 4 hours per day if deployed
- 50% hourly rate for any travel time
- Mileage reimbursement at US gov't rate ($0.655 per mile driven)
