Process Development Specialist

As a Process Development Specialist at Teknor Apex, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving the production process to ensure high-quality products. This involves developing new methods, working on projects to improve rates and set up standard formats, and assisting in establishing specific work goals and performance standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for production trials and spearheading the production trial team to improve the success rate at the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve the production process to ensure high-quality products
- Develop new methods and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Work on projects to improve rates and set up standard formats for different processes
- Assist in establishing specific work goals and performance standards
- Responsible for production trials and spearheading the production trial team
Requirements
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science or related discipline
- Good understanding of formulation, material science, and equipment involved
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Exposure to Six Sigma and Lean Experience preferred
- Ability to work in and support an ISO 9000 environment
