Software Developer/Programmer Job Description

Chenega Corporation is seeking a skilled Software Developer/Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop modern web applications using JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, React JS, Bootstrap, Node JS, Express, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Dynamo DB.
  • Full Stack Development using Java Spring MVC with Hibernate Frameworks.
  • Development and expansion of User Interface (UI)/Web front-end environment.
  • Development of software within cloud architecture such as AWS.
  • Develop REST APIs and SOAP web-services to transfer data in JSON and XML formats.
  • Write complex SQL queries/statements in PostgreSQL databases.
  • Utilize Agile development methodologies.
  • Edit software and create software to modify/create capabilities and functionality within the business solution to accommodate evolving workflows.
  • Perform QA for pre-deployment activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years relevant experience OR 5+ years relevant experience without a degree.
  • Experience writing JavaScript frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery or AngularJS).
  • Experience in UI Design.
  • Experience testing and debugging applications.
  • Additional experience in any of the following: HTML 5, CSS3, Java, Spring MVC, Apache Tomcat, Node JS, Express, SQL, HQL - Hibernate, NoSQL database such as Mongo, Development in the cloud(AWS), Eclipse, Visual Studio IDEs.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance the ability to pass a Counter Intelligence Polygraph.
