Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at Chenega Corporation. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop modern web applications using JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, React JS, Bootstrap, Node JS, Express, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Dynamo DB.
  • Full Stack Development using Java Spring MVC with Hibernate Frameworks.
  • Development and expansion of User Interface (UI)/Web front-end environment.
  • Development of software within cloud architecture such as AWS.
  • Develop REST APIs and SOAP web-services to transfer data in JSON and XML formats.
  • Write complex SQL queries/statements in PostgreSQL databases.
  • Utilize Agile development methodologies.
  • Edit software and create software to modify/create capabilities and functionality within the business solution to accommodate evolving workflows.
  • Perform QA for pre-deployment activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years relevant experience OR
  • 5+ years relevant experience without a degree
  • Experience writing JavaScript frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery or AngularJS)
  • Experience in UI Design
  • Experience testing and debugging applications
  • Additional experience in any of the following: HTML 5, CSS3, Java, Spring MVC, Apache Tomcat, Node JS, Express, SQL, HQL - Hibernate, NoSQL database such as Mongo, Development in the cloud(AWS), Eclipse, Visual Studio IDEs
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance the ability to pass a Counter Intelligence Polygraph

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong working experience in all phases of the SDLC
  • Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications
  • Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks
  • Must be capable of managing multiple projects with time related constraints in a fast- paced contract manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups of internal and/or external customers or employees
