About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our Networking and Communications team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-wide networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain enterprise network equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues
  • Deploy new technologies and network solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols
  • Experience with Cisco technologies, F5 BIG-IP LTM, and Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Ability to make decisions on network strategy and direction
