Role Purpose:

This position is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization, which includes conducting audits on fiscal transactions, managing inventory, processing payments, and assisting in the preparation of the annual budget.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage monthly and annual inventory records.
  • Procure quotes and place orders for necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor grant equipment inventory consistently.
  • Review financial reports and assist in audits of fiscal activities.
  • Prepare various financial reports and analyses.
  • Assist with travel requests and employee reimbursements.
  • Provide support during staff absences in the finance department.
  • Prepare quarterly expenditure reports for judges.
  • Ensure quality assurance for financial reports and budget reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of fiscal policies and procedures.
  • Process account closures and manage check reissues.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate and assess financial data.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate financial activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and interpret financial graphs.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey financial information effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in financial accounting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience in financial accounting.
