Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver building materials to customers: Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver building products to customers within a designated area.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections: Perform thorough inspections of the vehicle and equipment before and after each trip to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Validate and confirm inventory: Verify the accuracy of inventory loaded on the truck and confirm delivery tickets to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Perform job site inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of job sites to identify potential hazards and document any existing damage.
  • Capture delivery documentation: Take photos of delivered building products to ensure compliance with company policy.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL A or B: Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to load and unload building products: Physically able to load and unload building products that weigh up to 100 lbs. each.
  • Safe driving record: No hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years.
  • Knowledge of DOT & OSHA regulations: Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations for Logistics Specialists.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English: Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
