Position Overview:
In this role, you will assist in the development and execution of our program, ensuring that we meet our objectives and serve our community effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become well-acquainted with the approved grant agreement.
  • Support the implementation of program goals as outlined in the grant.
  • Assist the Site Coordinator with daily operations and grant administration.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with educators, parents, and students.
  • Help manage the recruitment and retention of participants.
  • Plan and facilitate family engagement events.
  • Oversee program materials and equipment necessary for activities.
  • Collaborate with other staff to enhance programming and execution.
  • Work closely with the Site Coordinator to evaluate program needs and staffing.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and enrollment records in the evaluation system.
  • Be familiar with security protocols and participate in emergency procedures.
  • Utilize technology effectively, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Travel to various locations as needed for program support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Exhibit consistent attendance and punctuality.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not include supervisory duties.

Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, requiring 12-20 hours per week, with a commitment of 32 weeks during the academic year and 6 weeks in the summer.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma required; experience in child development or education preferred.
  • Associate's degree is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative are essential.
  • Experience working with children or in after-school programs is beneficial.
  • Ability to implement engaging, age-appropriate programs.
  • Must meet licensing requirements as defined in the relevant regulations.
