Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Warehouse Operations team at Wayfair. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Operations team, including data entry, report generation, and document management.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and materials, ensuring timely ordering and restocking.
  • Coordinate and schedule shipments, including truckload, LTL, and shuttle shipments.
  • Track and monitor outbound truckloads, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues.
  • Oversee invoicing for maintenance and utilities, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Retrieve and file paperwork from various departments, maintaining a organized and secure filing system.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including customer service and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, with ability to learn and adapt to new software systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, with ability to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
