Job Summary

Pacific University is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Audiologist to join our team at the School of Audiology. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our doctoral audiology students while delivering exceptional patient care in a thriving community audiology clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive audiological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate with the Clinic Director and clinical education team to develop and implement a continuous quality improvement program for the Pacific EarClinic.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of licensure and hearing aid dispensing requirements, as well as HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
  • Supervise work-study and observation students assigned to the Pacific EarClinic.
  • Participate in educational and supervisory functions, including teaching clinical aspects of doctoral audiology education and providing clinical consultation to students.
Requirements
  • Current audiology license from the state of Oregon or eligibility for such license.
  • Earned Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree or research doctorate degree in audiology or hearing/balance science.
  • Minimum of three years, broad-scope clinical experience as an audiologist.
  • Previous supervisory experience with students desirable.
