EEG Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EEG Technician to join our team at Brainworks Diagnostic Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the set-up and operation of EEG instruments, working collaboratively with healthcare team members, physicians, and patients to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform EEG procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Abstract relevant information from patient clinical records and obtain additional information as needed.
- Maintain EEG paperwork, including compiling patient history, report generation, and sending results.
- Check and calibrate EEG equipment prior to use.
- Obtain standard recordings, recognize artifacts, and take appropriate steps to eliminate them.
- Support multiple hospitals with base pay calculated on covering 2 hospitals.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- At least one year of EEG Technician experience.
- Must be registered in EEG.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- May require bending, lifting, positioning, and/or assisting patients.
- Long periods of standing.
- Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
