Patient Account Collector

The Collector II role offers an attractive compensation package of $48,000 to $70,000 annually.
About the JobIn this position, you will work closely with medical staff and other departments to:
- Manage Patient Accounts: Follow up on self-pay balances and communicate with patients regarding payment arrangements.
- Coordinate with Insurance Providers: Input insurance information into our system and forward it to the correct billing personnel.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive patient information.
- Collection Efforts: Make phone calls, send letters, and process payments to collect outstanding debts.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of collections, payments, and correspondence with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Experience: At least six months of experience in a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
