Key Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Associate:
The Housekeeping Associate is tasked with maintaining cleanliness in all shared areas and resident suites. A strong adherence to established cleaning protocols and a genuine concern for the elderly are essential. The Housekeeping Associate must also be vigilant in observing any changes in residents and promptly communicating these to management.

Core Duties Include:
  • Adhere to established performance benchmarks and execute tasks in accordance with company policies.
  • Dust and clean various surfaces including vents, handrails, ceiling fans, and furniture.
  • Vacuum carpets and perform spot cleaning as needed.
  • Sanitize bathrooms and replenish supplies such as paper towels and soap.
  • Ensure all cleaning agents are stored safely and securely.
  • Collect and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Implement effective cleaning and infection control measures.
  • Report any resident concerns or changes to the supervisor immediately.
  • Notify maintenance of any issues requiring attention.
  • Recognize and address safety hazards proactively.
  • Utilize safety signage during cleaning operations.
  • Engage in training and development opportunities as required.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure in all interactions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support resident-centered activities and programs.
  • Participate in assigned projects or committees.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as requested.
  • Assist with various tasks involving residents as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Genuine compassion and a caring attitude towards seniors.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality or senior care settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Completion of necessary background checks and screenings.
  • Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
