We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to join our team at Alternatives Inc. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in our residential group home. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with activities of daily living, such as administering medication, cooking meals, and performing personal hygiene. You will also help them achieve their goals and encourage their interests through community outings and recreational activities.

You will be working closely with a team of professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality care and support. Our team has grown significantly in recent years, and we are expanding our coverage area to include multiple counties. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. A valid driver's license and good driving record are also essential requirements. If you have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, it would be considered an asset. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $20.25 ($22.25 on weekends) and provide great perks, including paid training, annual raises, mileage reimbursement, and eligibility for a federal student loan forgiveness program.
