Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at The Fresh Market. As a key member of our Meat/Seafood Department, you will be responsible for managing all functions and activities, including labor costs and loss reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the Meat/Seafood Department, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality products.
  • Help to reduce labor costs and minimize losses through effective inventory management and staff supervision.
  • Train and develop Meat Cutters and Meat/Seafood Clerks to ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  • Handle and cut a variety of specialty meats and seafood, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a meat cutting or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and product handling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
