Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced statistical models and algorithms to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop analytical solutions that drive business growth.
- Conduct data exploration, visualization, and feature engineering to support machine learning models and optimize drug development.
- Work with research scientists to design experiments and analyze data generated from pre-clinical and clinical studies.
- Develop and implement data-driven approaches to optimize clinical trial design and drug development.
- Stay current with the latest advances in data science and machine learning and apply them to drive business success.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with experience working in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience working with large and complex data sets, including genomic and clinical data.
- Experience with deep learning algorithms and natural language processing.
- Knowledge of drug development and clinical trial design.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Publications or presentations at Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Mining journals/conferences.
