About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Dow. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to address plant issues that impact production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance operating discipline to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
  • Provide technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating equipment design and service conditions.
  • Ensure that work requests include engineering input on repair details and provide onsite/offsite technical support as needed.
  • Document and make available repair techniques, equipment training, and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide maintainability input to Global Project Methodology activities and support the preventive maintenance coordinator in reviewing spare parts lists.
  • Enter quality, service, and product performance information into the reporting system and participate in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy.
  • Provide engineering input for work packages to ensure standards are followed and provide equipment reliability and performance data to the technical resource networks.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant military experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in equipment failures and repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
