Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Nuvance Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provides optimum patient care
  • Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely and correctly operate MRI equipment
  • Performs and records daily QA
  • Develops skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment
  • Develops skills in Contrast Administration
  • Demonstrates self-direction and utilizes problem-solving techniques
  • Cross-trained in another modality
  • Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience)
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum Experience: one year
  • Desired: 3 years experience in MRI; background in ultrasound or CT scan
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The technologist will be expected to take call on a rotation and work variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
