Aveanna Healthcare is a leading provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN/LVN to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Private Duty Nurse LPN/LVN to provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems and concerns
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • One year of hands-on nursing experience
  • Reliable transportation
