Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse - LPN/LVN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and manage physicians' prescribed plans of care for patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on health promotion and disease management
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- One year of hands-on nursing experience required
