Private Duty Nurse

About the Role:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse - LPN/LVN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in our system of record
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease prevention
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- One year of hands-on nursing experience
- Reliable transportation
