Job Summary

Kubota is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our growing R&D facility as a Shop Team Member. This role will provide critical support in logistics, inventory management, and shop floor maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Support: Pick up and drop off parts and supplies from Kubota Manufacturing and local suppliers.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Manage the receipt and dispatch of parts and machines within the facility.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain and manage inventory of storage racks, shop consumables, company vehicles, and trailers.
  • Equipment Transportation: Transport equipment to desired locations within and around the Gainesville area.
  • Shop Floor Maintenance: Ensure the shop floor and storage areas are maintained to Kubota's 5S standards.
  • DOT License and Kubota Driver's List: Obtain and maintain a valid DOT license and Kubota Driver's List status within 60 days.
  • ISO Compliance: Understand, comply, and lead others in support of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Basic Tools: Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
  • Communication: English language competency, including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driving: Eligible to drive trucks and trailers, with a valid DOT license.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Microsoft Office: Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift Operation: Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Logistics Experience: Experience in logistics and inventory control.
  • Measurement Tools: Ability to use measurement tools.
  • Driving Experience: Driving experience with trucks and trailers.
