We are seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Technician Lead to join our team at Davis & Davis Communications Corpor. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

This role involves leading a team of technicians in installing, pulling, terminating, testing, and labeling all types of low voltage cabling (Data, Coax, fiber). The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in this field and be able to work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

The Structured Cabling Technician Lead will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of technicians in installing, pulling, terminating, testing, and labeling all types of low voltage cabling
  • Ability to use volt and amperage meter preferred
  • Must be able to quickly and correctly diagnose cabling problems and determine root cause, and drive resolution
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly & be able to read prints
  • Exceptional customer service skills, organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
Requirements

To be successful as a Structured Cabling Technician Lead, you should have:

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check/driving record check & drug screen
  • Ability to travel to jobs that require overnight stay both in and out of state
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred
