OnQ Global is currently seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Commissioning Technician to join our team in Cartersville, GA. As an Electrical Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commissioning of electrical systems in various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical wiring, blueprints, conduit, industrial electrical systems, switchgear, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Commission electrical systems in accordance with project specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project completion
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with electrical design and power systems
  • Knowledge of transformers, power distribution, and high voltage systems
  • Familiarity with fire protection systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings
  • Experience with boilers, switches, millwork, and refrigeration systems
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
