Position Summary:

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the FVP of Wealth Management. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the client service center, ensuring seamless operational support for the IB Wealth Management team. This position also entails acting as an internal sales associate for investment representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established protocols while balancing priorities to achieve team objectives in a dynamic environment.
  • Execute complex administrative functions for the FVP of Wealth Management and the broader wealth team.
  • Communicate with clients to facilitate new account openings, asset transfers, and other brokerage activities.
  • Gather, prepare, and analyze data to generate reports for management and other departments as required.
  • Address client inquiries in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Support wealth advisors with reporting, documentation, and service goals.
  • Maintain wealth service databases and conduct financial research as needed.
  • Deliver operational, administrative, and client service support.
  • Provide exceptional service and memorable experiences for clients.
  • Supervise wealth management sales assistants under the guidance of the FVP of Wealth Management.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards for the IB Wealth program.
  • Perform high-level administrative and support tasks for the wealth team.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time management capabilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a strong focus on accuracy and organization.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing technologies.
  • Capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in investment sales or financial services.
  • A minimum of five years in investment sales within a banking or financial services context, with a preference for experience in program management.
  • Possession of Series 7 and 63 licenses, along with life and disability insurance licenses (or the ability to obtain them upon hire).
  • Commitment to ongoing professional education and development of advanced credentials is expected.
