Job Responsibilities and QualificationsAs an Orthopedic Medical Surgical Nurse, you will:
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
- Utilize therapeutic communication in your daily practice and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
- Identify nursing challenges related to individual patient needs.
- Develop personalized patient care plans through an interdisciplinary approach.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide care and coordinate efforts that align with the hospital's mission and vision.
Required qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure (or eligibility).
- Preferred: 1 year of clinical experience.
- CPR certification.
