Job Summary and Qualifications
The Orthopedic Medical Surgical Nurse delivers direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
Utilizes effective communication in daily practice. Ensures a safe therapeutic environment. Identifies nursing challenges as they pertain to the unique needs of each patient. The Registered Nurse formulates personalized patient care plans while employing an interdisciplinary approach. Engages in performance improvement initiatives. Provides care and coordinates efforts that align with the hospital's mission and vision.
When assuming the charge nurse role, registered nurses oversee daily operations to guarantee the provision of quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Med-Surg RN, you will deliver direct patient care within the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
In this capacity, you will employ effective communication in daily practice. Maintain a secure therapeutic environment.
Identify nursing challenges as they relate to the individual needs of patients.
Plan personalized patient care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.
Engage in performance improvement initiatives.
Provide care and coordinate efforts that support the hospital's mission and vision.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current RN licensure (or eligible).
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
