Job Details:
Copperhead Environmental Consulting is seeking a Senior Wetland Scientist / Project Manager to lead our wetland and waterway delineation efforts and manage projects from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing full-service environmental firm dedicated to providing exceptional service and expertise driven by a passion for the natural world.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position based in Paint Lick, Kentucky or Nashville, Tennessee, with estimated travel between 50% - 75% during peak seasons. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aquatic and wetland sciences, with at least 8 years of experience in project management. A master's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or botany is preferred, and certification as a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) or Qualified Hydrologic Professional (QHP) for Tennessee is valuable but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects, including budgeting, invoicing, and scheduling
- Oversee and conduct wetland and waterway delineations
- Prepare and coordinate Section 404/401 permit applications
- Prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondence, and other written material
- Coordinate and submit proposals
- Network within industry organizations to establish and expand the regional client base in the areas of environmental permitting, planning, and broad-based natural resources services
