Senior Wetland Scientist / Project Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wetland Scientist / Project Manager to join our team of environmental professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aquatic and wetland sciences, as well as experience in project management.

About the Role:

The Senior Wetland Scientist / Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects, including budgeting, invoicing, and scheduling. They will also oversee and conduct wetland and waterway delineations, prepare and coordinate Section 404/401 permit applications, and prepare clear and concise reports.

The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of progressive experience in aquatic and wetland sciences, and at least 5 years of progressive project management experience. A Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, botany, or a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects, including budgeting, invoicing, and scheduling
  • Oversee and conduct wetland and waterway delineations
  • Prepare and coordinate Section 404/401 permit applications
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondence, and other written material
  • Coordinate and submit proposals
  • Network within industry organizations to establish and expand the regional client base in the areas of environmental permitting, planning, and broad-based natural resources services

This position requires an estimated $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
