We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assembly Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate Assembly Equipment: Safely operate assembly equipment per instructions, using quality and set standards per guidelines, including secondary activities.
  • Respect Equipment: Operate and respect assembly equipment as per operator instructions specifically for that operation.
  • Assure Work Station: Ensure all information, supplies, and equipment needed are at the work station and are being used properly.
  • Keep Work Areas Clean: Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Document Work: Properly fill out all documentation per instructions.
  • Support Team Members: Work together and support co-workers as needed or directed by your supervisor.
  • Recognize Quality: Capable of recognizing the difference between a quality and non-conforming product utilizing a quality criteria board/instructions.
  • Collect Non-Conforming Parts: Collect any non-conforming parts that are not identified on sample board, so the criteria board can be updated.
  • Verify Product Labels: Fill out and verify the proper label for the product before placing it on the upper right-hand side of the carton opposite the seam.
  • Report Issues: Report any damage, or safety issues, of any equipment or accident to your supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain Shop Safety: Help in maintaining the shop's safety, organization, and housekeeping, including packaging area, at all times.
  • Initiate Solutions: Initiate and recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Prevent Non-Conformities: Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality system through the appropriate channels.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as instructed by supervisor, or as may be necessary to maintain efficient operations.
